Daylily bloom season never seems to last long enough to please us all, but around here it lasts for months longer than it used to when my garden was first planted.

Rita, this is a wonderful list of places to get season extending daylilies. Every time I see an Olallie daylily, I think of you because of the late blooming ones you have. Like you said, they aren't fancy, but they really extend the season.

Thank you everyone. Really there is just never enough information easily found about true late blooming daylilies. So I decided an article would be good to do.

Very nice article Rita. Great job listing different places to buy from and show what you have. Your Late Bed is stunning! If it weren't for the facts of budget and really trying to simplify my life I would be adding a Late Bed to my garden!

I think grouping them together like that gives the late bloomers more impact. I do have some late bloomers just here and there around the other daylily beds though.

A wonderfully informative article Rita. I love that you listed where to get these lovely lates. Thank you.
