These little airline salt and pepper shakers can be used for mixing fine seed with sand and then distributing the mix on a seed tray.

You have food on your air flights? What airline are you taking. Did away with food and even peanuts long ago.

I've been laughing to myself (in a good way) since this was first posted.
I cannot imagine ever being able to fly first class in my lifetime, but good for you that you are frugal and think ahead to save these cute little salt and pepper shakers!

Fly safe and happy landing!

Hey troops,

I fly so much I get upgrades, Diamond with Delta, and this is what is on the tray. I am going to collect a bunch and redistribute them.

Always back of the plane now, the front costs a fortune, and if I fly economy I can have a great meal instead of the aircraft food, and still have all the difference between the tickets. I fly a lot of transatlantic, and look like I am going to be hitting Australia and South Africa in the next twelve months. It can be sore on your butt, but better than what happens to your wallet.

Thanks for all the thumbs up, I am surprised and pleased that so many people liked the idea, and you all helped me get the next level ideas badge, which is humbling, as I now have to get some more ideas.

Best to all,

Peter I tip my hat to you.

I am proud of you for finding a new garden-related purpose for the containers and not selling them on eBay like some others are doing. Thumbs up Thumbs up
