That is really cool. I wonder why the hanging, dangling leaves don't get huge like they do when the plant climbs up??

the atrium set-up is very interesting: the floors are receeding towards the bottom, each higher floor is cantilevered over the lower one and lianas are hanging in multiple 'curtains'. this pic has a bit of detail of the roof glass pyramid.

epi aureum increases leaves only IF it goes up. when it hangs down, the leaf size reduces dramatically very fast. i actually took a pic in miami to illustrate this:

LOL, I don't know why I never noticed that here ... I guess it's because the huge leaves are always way up and draw my eye up to the top of the trees:

love those huge ones! Thumbs up it's not possible indoors (and for the better, i'd say Rolling my eyes. ).
i've been experimenting a bit, letting a couple of very long vines go up on the shelf, towards the ceiling. it's minor increase, but it did increase somewhat. may be as much as double?
now i need to chop the largest tip and send it up again, to see if it'll increase some more.

Gotta watch those sneaky vines too. I had "Brazil" sneak behind a bookcase and attach to the wall and was about a foot up before I realized it !
God gave us wings. He just called them horses
