Alas, I wish this were true. IME, the deer in western Washington go for it before they go for anything else - including other sedums!

I live in the very northern part of Maine and grow lots of Sedum Autumn Joy and other succulents and they all do very well in Zone 3. I love all of them.

I find it very interesting that we have different experiences with deer and other critters when it comes to our succulents. Our local deer and rabbits just don't seem to care anything about succulents. I do occasionally have the fawns taste test the new top growth on some of my taller sedum.
