@LindaTX8, that Calandrinia umbelleta looks really interesting! Have you gotten and planted the seeds yet? How is it doing?
I grow that rock purslane, similar to the one Cheryl's DD has. I grow them in containers though, endures our hot and dry summer's nicely, our winters are mild so I just leave them outdoors year round. Bloomstalk starts appearing in mid to late Spring and once it is out, I just let it keep blooming and blooming all summer long. It does prefer the cooler air temps of late winter to spring.
I took cuttings this year in late Feb, and it grew fast as Spring came, giving it lots of sun, and very drought tolerant:
