I posted one a few days ago called "Pickling Paper Whites". It looked like it was submitted. How long does it take before it shows up ? If it's not accepted. are we advised ?

You'll get a message telling you when it has been accepted and another one telling you when it will be scheduled to run.

It is possible that you may get a message suggesting improvements to your article.
After you edit and make the suggested changes, your article will once again join the cue.
It is exciting to finally see an article get published.
I submitted one and it was published a year later, I was pleasantly surprised.
