Sand dunes act sort of like the blow sand we have in parts of the county, only with a lot less rainfall. Some plants manage that moving sand pretty well. They stabilize the sand, of course, but they get covered by drifting sand regularly. I wonder what the underground structures look like after a few years of that. Green briar, sandburs, clump grasses all manage very well. Those come to mind, but I'm not sure how many plants manage. I need to look closer. That's interesting that the blooms are all that show.
