I admit that the response to the photo contest has been dramatically larger than I was expecting. I initially thought that two days would be enough for voting but now I'm not so certain.

But I will say this: voting is a lot easier than you'd think. It wouldn't take a week to vote. It seems daunting to have over 2,000 photos to vote, but the system I've made for browsing through them is quite intuitive as you will soon see.

And also, each category will have a reasonable amount that is much more easily consumed. So you will vote one category at a time. It might take 15 minutes to check out a category, pick out your favorites, and then cast votes on the top 3 of your favorites. And you don't have to vote on every category if you don't want to.

Okay. What I'll do is choose the categories I'm most interested in first and work my way down the list. That might make it more manageable. I do want to see all the photos if I can as I've taken an interest in photography now that I have more time on my hands---I've also taken an interest in another camera already!!

I just noticed you have a photography blog so I'll look into that too.
