Hi would like to know if the very long tenticle (roots) on the dry bulbs received today can be cut back before planting?? Bulbs from a different supplier tha tenticles were only about 3/4 inches long.

No..... do not cut those off...... they should be several inches long.
Build a cone of soil to place the crown onto and the long roots go down the sides of the cone.
The tip of the crown should be only a couple of inches below the soil surface.
I soak the roots before planting them.

Welcome to the ATP site!
