Is there possibly room in a sector of the Plant Db where positively identified "fungi and friends "could be listed with pictures and links and further info? Or have I missed it?

"Fungi and friends" are not plants, so they're not in our plant database.

Hi zuzu.

I know that fungi are considered a Third Kingdom, separate from Animal and Plant. I was not sure where those photos, etc could go and be easily accessible for folks.

I've seen a few references to mushrooms in the All Things Gardening Forum, but a thread wholly devoted to fungi probably should be posted in the Sandbox, where our threads about pets and other non-plants reside.

It was a thought inspired by a request on the Plant ID forum. Thanks for the reply.
