So glad you found it; those little strings can be hard to spot and I'm pretty sure I must have destroyed some years ago before I learned what they were. Still feel guilty about it.
I will look in my pond; but I would expect the goldfish would have a snack on them.

Yes Elfie, I usually have lots of fish in my pond but lost them all this past winter from it being so cold. I believe that is why I did have so many in my pond this year. I will certainly pay more attention in the future!
