Well I am really glad to see that you are working so hard thinking about thinking about it! And I am also really inspired to think about enjoying your article immensely and benefiting from it greatly, hopefully at some point in the future sooner than later Smiling

You have very inspirational containers Bev!

So how did the winning basket reno turn out?

DirtDorphin, glad you enjoyed my containers! Smiling The metal basket container was due for a reno and won't be finished until Spring. Initially, the basket with it's neat looking Echeveria 'Lola' needed to be sequestered indoors for the 2013-14 winter when we hit high 20's in temps. Basket was brought in too late and as a result the Crassula marginalis broke apart in pieces, the sedum froze or disintegrated and the Lola etiolated so I had to lop the head off the long stem. Suffice to say, basket not looking the same but come Spring, I will see what I can come up with.

Bev I was floored with this container. BUT, somehow I missed it in the judging round!!! I got overwhelmed and somehow missed a bunch of pictures. I am so glad this won its class because it is stunning. Well done. And I've always admired your containers.

Aw...Jennifer, sorry that you missed this basket but especially sorry that you missed out on the other fantastic work done by the other members. My photo didn't entail a whole lot of photographic technique but I am proud of my arrangement work and even more so now that I know other people liked it too. Thank you very much for your kind words. Smiling

I can see how you might have missed out; there were lots of categories of lots of photos. You know I'm mainly a succulent person but I had wanted to give my humble attention to all the entries and so by the time I got to tackling the last two categories of the lilies, it was quite challenging to focus and make choices. I think next year, for me, Lilies will have to be a viewing session of its own ... Whistling
