@vic and @chelle - have the slowdowns ended or is the problem persisting?

Still slow for me. Takes almost a minute for ATP to come up and quite a while for photo's to load.

Well, I haven't changed a thing on the site for over a week...

and it took over a minute for this thread to open for me.

It's fine. It's not like I need it to move fast for me. I can click on a photo and come back later to see it

It's still running slow for me, Dave. I wonder if it's being caused by something I need to update on my end? I'm having trouble getting finished screens and complete popups in the DB now, too. For instance; sometimes, if I try to add a new plant the process goes through the motions, but the info on the screen just stays the same...it won't go through and finish. Other times, I'll just get part of a popup box without the "want" "have" section...

It's weird.

For me I think it is a problem with my internet provider. Not sure what I can do about that. I know I don't get the speed I pay for.

I don't think that's it for me. I can tell when it's due to ISP problems because it's widespread ...wherever I surf.

Okay, I made a small change. Please let me know now how the speed is.

Everything appears to be back to normal now, Dave, and we're even under heavy rainfall at the moment. Thank you!

Thanks Chelle, let me know if that speed increase continues. If so, then that will be a valuable clue as to what the problem was.

Dave, It is faster for me too, the slow part started when you made the site secure.

Definitely. The annoying logo flicker is gone, the micro-badge images don't have to load individually, and the DB and List features are back to normal, too.

I just wanted to confirm that my isp is the reason for me being so slow. We were visiting family in Florida this past week and ATP moved at lightening speed from their computer.

At home, we are on the fastest DSL speed available for our area.
