I wish I could. It's a Google feature and I don't have any control over it at all. To place it on the site I just copied one line of text into the site and then it appeared. Sad

I'm probably confused here but when you click on the +1, it turns blue. It stays that way but then the next day??? it clears again if you click on the +1 again, it turns blue again and the box to the right adds the click.

Dave, I know you said to only click once but it appears to be clearing and ready for clicking again every 24 hours?

Any ideas?

I don't know, vic. That's not happening to me.

Keep in mind that this feature works on each different page. So many you clicked on it on one page and then the next day you're looking at a different page?

If you go to the homepage (click the logo) and then click the +1 to make it blue, it should stay blue (on the homepage) forever.

I noticed that too. It seems for your click to show you have to be signed in to google. This morning I went directly to google and signed in, then came here and it showed my click. It isn't clearing...it just isn't showing your click to you when you're signed out of google.

Ok Dave, I'll do that and then I'm going to go to a forum, click every page, and keep checking it each day. I think you hit the nail on the head in that I'm not on the same page each day. No surprise there. Whistling

Amazing
Google common stock, GOOG, is up $65 or 12% on 1+ introduction. Guess this is a VERY good tool! Effective for them and effective for us, too!

I saw that but I don't think it had much to do with +1. Google announced today that they beat earnings expectations by a wide margin, much higher than they were expecting.

True, it's the earnings ... I thought it was cute to run with the +1 line.

I also heard on the radio today that they have a nifty conference video feature. Everyone present in the conference is visible as they speak. The camera automatically turns to the person speaking. WOW.

Cisco teleconferencing is like that. It's very very cool.
I think it was Facebook who announced partnering with Skype last week, too.

Can anyone suggest any IE security options to try turning off to enable this feature at home?

I didn't see the "+1" at work or home, both IE. IE7 at home. I created a new Google account of some sort (both homepage and something referring to a gmail acct) still no "+". made sure I was logged in the Google, left & re-entered ATP - no "+".

The IT department at work is so copntrolling I doubt I'll be able to turn anything on or off at work.

To create a "public profile" on Google for the "+1" feature
(this may only apply to users of Internet Explorer):

On your Google homepage, upper right corner, click on your email address
(Google username??) and find the option "create profile".

But "Google Profiles no longer supports IE7".

So you may need to download a modern browser. In my case, I'll have to try from home instead of from work, where I do 95% of my browsing.
