Doing my Fall thing in the garden, I discovered 2 climbing roses I know I did not plant.
I have never intentionally planted anything with thorns on it.
But both are growing in places I wouldn't mind having them.
I DO hope they aren't pink, although they probably are, given the tastes of the gardeners around me.

I DID NOT KNOW THEY COULD MIGRATE LIKE THAT!!!!
Do you think the birds brought them?
Surely not the wind.

Roses DO spread by bird dropped seeds!
Of COURSE everything started as a species and most seeds that aren't airborne on their own would spread that way!
Like, duh! I was too focused on what people are growing near me to think about that!
And I PREFER species plants in general.

Look forward to seeing them bloom, tough plants!
