Thanks Susie,
I try my best to be as modest as possible, but I must say these severe weather patterns are affecting millions in the upper tier of states. It is bad enough here, but there are many, many more worse off than me. I am familiar with Joe Bastardi's analysis and tend to agree. Last year should have given us all a hint the "global warming" theory was all wrong! It seemed like all we got done was to plow snow almost on a daily basis!
I am so glad the seed catalogs are arriving. I like to have a paper copy in my hands to help me plan what I will be doing in spring. My basic focus is on veggies like snap beans, potatoes, onions, carrots & tomatoes. But I also like to add the 'exotics' like cantaloupe and squash. Overall the growing season this year was abnormally cool and wet here. But most of the gardens did fairly well in spite of that. I've got my fingers crossed for a better growing season 2015!
Thanks so much for your comments.
