I love to have a nice container on my porch. Even if I don't have much company, I enjoy it each time I come home.

There are a number of cats in my neighbor hood but none call my house home......

Ours would be very interested in investigating that arrangement, I think. A bit destructive in their interest sometimes!

It does remind me of a time I lived in an upstairs apartment with a long deck that had a wooden rail. For a winter decoration out there, I wired branches of Yaupon, with red berries, all along it, and to my delight this attracted mockingbirds who sat on the rail and feasted on the berries.

Great idea to have a lovely container on your front porch where you can get as creative as you wish with flowers, grasses, even veggies. Seriously, how can gardeners ever be bored !
