I am always interested in new books about daylilies so I ordered the new Illustrated Guide to Daylilies from the AHS. My book arrived today it is beautiful with lots of updated photos and plenty of information packed in it's 128 pages. I do have the older version which I will give to my SIL to increase her interest in daylilies. I am so glad that I purchased this book!

I do believe you have to be a member of the AHS to purchase this book.

If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!

Glad you pointed out that anyone can order. I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on getting this book, it will make for excellent winter reading.

The AHS is working on a new Spiders an UFO book now which will be of more interest to some of us. I already have the above book and it is really nice and well worth the cost.

Dr. Scott Elliott is also working on a book on doubles. He is compiling information from doubles hybridizers, editing and putting the chapters together. AHS is hoping to have that out by end of 2015, with the completely revised book on spiders and unusual forms out sometime in 2016. These next two publications we estimate will compare in size (pages, chapters) to 'The Illustrated Guide' which is shipping now.

I ordered two copies of the new book, one for myself and one for a Christmas gift, on the 18th and they were here on the 25th. That is fast! Hope to get time this weekend to read through it, I've only had time for a few chapters so far. Look forward to seeing the rest of the new books when they are published.

I just received my copy of Landscaping with Daylilies. I am loving all the info and great pictures/ideas that are in this book. It will be helping me thru this winter. It is discounted $10 for a limited time only. It would be a nice gift for a daylily person or to your local library.
