I received my seeds -- MORE than my share of what I paid for, LOL!

Drdawg (Ken Ramsey) realized he had never completed his order, and was looking for a delivery that wasn't coming. He and Luke straightened it out, and I believe drdawg is a happy camper.

My order was routed to a town in Texas that I don't live in...mail service is tragically poor these days...but, I finally got my order, too!

Luke Marion is on the up and up, folks, and, he's mailing out the orders within two days of receiving them.

I have severe glaucoma and color blindness It is light and I didn't see it. Thank you!!

I did not know females could be color-blind. I thought that was a male chromosome thing. Live and learn, huh?

No, I guess I am just lucky like that. It is much more common in men. I didn't even know until about 5 yrs ago when I started on eyedrops.

I have got to perserve what sight I have to enjoy all these wonderful blooms!

When I was attending the Mississippi State University, and since I was a pre-med major, I was put in charge of checking the incoming ROTC freshmen for color-blindness. I could swear that I was told by the physician heading up the physical examinations that females would not be tested since color-blindness could not occur with them.

Why check for color-blindness with these freshmen? Any who had color-blindness (and there were perhaps a dozen specific color-blindness traits) would be put into the Air Force to study aerial photographs (no such think as digital or even computers back then). Their color-blindness actually helped them read maps and photographs better than those with "normal" sight.

Now you know the rest of the story.

Even more of a genetics lesson........................women are carriers for colorblindness. A male gets it from his mother. For a female to be colorblind, the mother must be a carrier & the father would be colorblind. And of course there are the thousands of incantations of colorblindness.

Okey, dokey. Now we know.

I have wondered when I look at a bloom if others see them in a different manner. Another reason that Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder to be a true statement.

I googled colorblindness and found more than I wanted to read lol. Have a Merry Christmas , I am making peanut butter balls tonight. Letting them chill in the fridge before the chocolate dip.
