And hope you have a fun filled day eating until you are stuffed! Today will be a quiet day at home with a German dinner of roast beef and potato dumplings with just me and the dogs. Our extended family celebration with the traditional turkey dinner will be on Saturday. Drive careful if you must, and have fun.

Close to an inch in Santa Cruz. I'm happy, the weeds are happy

I threw out a bunch of seed I got from Renee Shepherd today. Several kinds of Poppies & pink Nigella. I've got an area that's kind of a wildflower "meadow" and probably emptied 10 packs of seed. I haven't had much luck in the past doing that, but I think on fair days, the birds look at it as a banquet. Maybe I'll have better success w/ the rain.
