Has anyone ordered seeds or plants from this nursery?

http://www.vermontwildflowerfarm.com/?gclid=CjwKEAiAtNujBRDM...

They have a great selection of wildflower seeds. Most of the seed packets of individual species cost $2.95 apiece, but the price drops to a dollar if you order 10 packets. Not 10 packets of one species, but 1 packet each of 10 species! Shipping's free if your seed order comes to at least $15.00. I had no trouble choosing 17 varieties. I'm delighted. Even if I could find seed packets for a dollar locally, the California State sales tax would drive the price up considerably.

If the germination rate proves to be good, I'll post a recommendation of this nursery.

I just looked at the website. Then I looked closer. Then I looked at the 'wildflower mixes'.
Not seeing a list of seeds in their mixes, not common names or botanical names. And this part about the mixes scares me a bit:

"...pure, fresh wildflower seed. All are easy to grow! All zones and regions."

Are there really wildflower seeds that will grow everywhere equally well?
When the seed packs arrive, please let us know if there is more information on the packs than appears on the website.
Thanks.

Click on "Read more" in the initial description for any mix and then click on "Detailed Info." The Deluxe Wildflower Mix lists the Latin names and common names of 27 wildflowers, for instance, and the Favorite Meadow Wildflower Seed Mix lists the botanical and common names of 30 wildflowers.

Here's the page showing all of the different mixes:

http://www.vermontwildflowerfarm.com/wildflower-seed-wildflo...

As for this part: "All are easy to grow! All zones and regions." -- those are two different sentences. I don't think they're saying that any flower will grow in all regions. They're saying that all of the wildflowers are easy to grow and that they have wildflowers for all zones and regions.

Here's the page for the regional mixes:

They have some great deals. Thanks for letting us know Zuzu. I don't think you can find small quantities of wildflower seeds any cheaper anywhere. I did take a look at their prices for bulk quantities from 1/4 lb. and up and if someone is looking for those type of quantities there are a couple of places I know of that have much better pricing. You can check them out:
http://www.outsidepride.com

http://www.wildseedfarms.com/home.php

I can't speak for the germination rate of the seeds from Outside Pride because I placed my first order with them recently but I can say the seeds I received from Wild Seed Farms last year germinated very well.

My seeds arrived today. So far, so good. The package included two bonus packets of mixed seed. I was pleased to receive all of the varieties I had ordered. I get so annoyed when a nursery allows you to order items, charges you for them, and then informs you later that the items were out of stock. This nursery's website apparently is updated automatically, so there are no unpleasant surprises.

I agree Zuzu. There is nothing more aggravating than finding out you won't be getting what you thought you were.
