Hi Sharon. That is an awesome collection of Blyth irises. I noticed you have several of his 'dragon' named irises that are on my wish list as well as his little guys (dwarfs). When your irises bloom this spring please post photos of them for all of us to enjoy. Reading your list made me really want spring blooms now. smiles

Sue ...I think that is a great idea Big Grin you might check on flights as well your so close you might catch a 99.00 dollar special on Southwest or something like that and save the time driving and use it to take pictures Smiling the airport in Portland is less than an hour drive to Salem.
Robin's gardens were awesome she is working on Re bloomers, lots of cool seedlings to see in her yard and she has a great collection of Kieth's and Barry's plants all lined out and labeled well. She is directly across the street from Kieth's and about a 10 minute drive to Mid America and Schreiner's. Dad and I will be there again this year whenever there peak bloom time is, hoping it is Convention weekend but with the weather the past few years Shrug! who know's when that will be.

Sharon... We Love pictures Smiling

What an amazing collection of Blyth irises Sharon! No pressure here...but if you are up to posting photos we would sure live them! I just had to look up the iris named Gigglefit...but alas the ATP database does not have a photo. Maybe the AIS does...I'll check when I have more time.

Several of you grow Rogue Trader. I read a comment in the MidAmerica catalog that this Iris is not a "sturdy" grower. Would you'all agree with that comment?

That's one huge and very impressive list of Blyth's Sharon! I don't think I've seen you post before, so hello and Welcome! . I'm looking forward to seeing some photos of these beauties. Thumbs up

That sounds like an awesome trip Sue! (insert jealous smiley here Green Grin! ) Your photos are always amazing, so I can't wait to see them.

That's a great list you have too Jan!

Some beautiful additions to your great collection of irises Leslie!

I wonder how Rogue Trader does in a warmer/hotter (West Coast) region.

Tom -- so it's a slow grower for you -- is it planted in the best possible location? Do you have problems with weak stalks, or anything like that?

I like it well enough to give it a try, regardless -- but I'm wondering how it's done for others here.
