My friends in Harvard, MA had loads of hummers on their feeder....guess they abandoned me!

I only get one but see two fighting sometimes. I've seen so many videos of people with tons at a time

The most I have seen at once was 3.. never share the feeder here.. always fighting

I watched the ones in Harvard for 3 days....one skirmish, but I probably missed others....they are feisty!

I've seen one trying to chase a flock of chickadees from its territory. Its territory was my perennial garden, the chickadees were there for the nearby bird feeder!

A hummer was sitting on my clothesline yesterday....the salvias are right there, so I'm sure he was in them first.....

We have about 7 or 8 hummers this year The boss is one we call Napoleon he is the smallest
hummer I have even seen and he has a black throat So we have two feeders so the others can get a break from the
little monster LOL

I have 3 feeders and they still fighting here.. the female even warmed up to Randy now... he was just a couple of feet from her yesterday.. until the male chases her away

I have one....no fighting! He was in my salvia again today.....

Sharon Webb Brown passed away today. We lost a beautiful soul.

I found out on the Blue Garden cubit last night. It was quite a blow for everyone.

Sorry I never read her posts......they sounded memorable.

I believe she had heart issues. She is missed by any who read her stories.
