Earlier I had posted a question asking if this mystery orchid I rescued from a yard debris pile had any significant issues as far as anyone could tell....guess what! It has 3 flower spikes on it!!!

My hubby isn't really into this stuff, but I had to joyously tell someone....so, I'm telling all of you! Hurray!

Hi Lore! It pretty much looks the same...we are going to have some nights in the 40s so I've installed my hideous homemade greenhouse over my 'chids...since I'm such a poor engineer I didn't plan for a door so it's really tough to get in there but as soon as the weather comes back I'll snap a photo! :D

Update!!! The Brassavola mystery orchid has four....yes 4.....FOUR flower spikes! I found the fourth (shown in the 3rd pic) creeping up with the others. Just saw it! It is probably saying, Thanks for saving me from the county compost heap!
