I see Bluestone Perennials is now listing Daisies, what I knew as Leucanthemum, now as Chrysanthemum. Is this something that is in the process of changing over?

And if so, what will garden type fall mums be called? Still Chrysanthemum?

I wouldn't worry too much about Bluestone's categorization of plants. Nursery websites are full of obsolete names. Shasta Daisies and Oxeye Daisies were once called chrysanthemums but are now categorized as leucanthemums.

Yes, it is, but only for Shasta and Oxeye daisies. Other plants once called chrysanthemums are either still classified as Chrysanthemum or have been moved to other genera (Dendranthema, Arctanthemum, Rhodanthemum, etc.). If you browse by genus and look up Chrysanthemum, you'll find plants with lots of different genus names.

Got it. Sorry I was not clear. Yes, I meant the type that is generally white on the petals and yellow in the center Rolling on the floor laughing as Leucanthemum. I know those other beauties of fall are not Leucanthemum. Thumbs up
