sorry Marilyn, I should have also posted Geisha gown.
In this post, Rose Queen is the pink and Geisha Gown is the blue.A marriage made in Eden, even the girl/boy colours match.

Beautiful! The three fall JI's do have a special charm.

Really like that picture of Rose Queen (?) in the breeze. Adds dynamic missing in still shots. Really like the shades of pink in the bloom as well.

Vanozzi - Beautiful shot of Geisha Girl!

Thanks. My lists of trades were on my old computer, which died. I couldn't retrieve any information from it. Show us the photos and maybe I can help identify yours. I know we've traded but have no idea of the plants involved.

Thank you, Rob! It's always nice to hear.

This one is Tarhelm, with nine falls. It's very tall and does flop sometimes.

How sweet you are, Marilyn. I do like Tarhelm but probably should stake it long before it blooms. It's upsetting to see it lying down on the earth and soil looks so awful on a white JI.

That garden, the Japanese iris garden at the courtyard, is either "oodles of irises" or havoc. There are many that have to be divided this year and that's a big job. They're all all too close for comfort and many times for identification.

I feel like Santa's mother after working hard outside today! Santa has it easy in a heated workshop. No fair!

It is all worth the work when the JI's are in bloom. I'm still loving the look of them and still buying more though I keep telling myself I don't have space. I'm sure it's that way with any plant we happen to love.
