The remaining photos were taken in the growing field.

These were either at the end of their bloom or they don't hold up well in stormy weather.

The label was missing on this one, but it really caught my attention.

I conclude my little photo tour of Adelman's with the loveliest Lovely Rose. Oh those shades of pink! Awesome, just awesome!

Well by now my big ol' truck was sitting alone in the parking lot. I was the last one out, but I tell you I didn't even scratch the surface of what all was there at Adelman's Peony Gardens. So many beauties had to go unphotographed.

When I got back to town I rejoined my volkswalking companions for dinner at a popular Chinese restaurant, a nice conclusion to a wonderful day of walking and gauking Smiling

Oh my lord!! that is fantastic!! Smiling Jim and Carol sat at the same table that Tracey (Mags), Donna (DonnaMack) and I did when we were at the convention. All the flowers were gorgeous at the convention, but Adelman's were distinct. Something about the dirt they have in Oregon, the temperature and moisture, their peonies were huge and had a really rich coloration. Very nice. Thanks for sharing the pictures of their place with us. Jim and Carol were very nice people, as were everyone we met at the Convention. Smiling

You had your own "convention" there at Aldelmans. As Ticker says, the Adelmans sat at our table and were very kind and giving with their information. They were trying to talk us into a trip to next year's convention in Oregon. It sounds like it would be a great time to visit, as she explained that Schrieners Iris was only a couple miles away from them.

The vivid colors are evident in your photographs pard! I'm forever in envy of the colors you guys get out there. *Blush* Thank you for sharing your gorgeous walk with us.

I've never been to Oregon, but as I get more and more into gardening I keep thinking that there must be a way to make a trip out there. Your walk looks amazing!

How wonderful. Yes, I recognize those saturated colors and huge blooms as Adelmann's. What a distinct difference!

How kind of you to share it all with us. Oregon is truly a planters' paradise. B&D, Forest Farm, Adelman's...
