I had this once and it looked like the pic Joy posted. I don't think the other photos with the darker eye look the same at all? Is there that much variation in the blooms?

Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Bibbity Bobbity Boo')

Joy posted three photos. It appears all those she posted were used with permission by suppliers. Which one of Joy's postings looked the same as the one you grew? Where you obtained it could be important. Even hybridizers occasionally have a mix up.

I got mine from Homestead Farms in Owensville MO, If I remember right.

this is the one mine looked like. It seems to have a sort of washed eye? Lighter than the rest of the petal color and a pencil edging? I don't see that at all in some of the other photos, they don't even appear to be the same flower ?

I no longer grow this, but originally obtained it from the hybridizer years ago. Mine resembled the darker eyed images. I don't recall if I have any images still, but will look when I open computer later today.

I don't think the one from Homestead that Joy added is correct at all and I will remove it. We have had several from various vendors that turned out to miss-tagged. Unfortunately, some of these then make the rounds to other sellers and that's how you probably ended up with one like it too..

As you can see, the Salter's images is the same as all the other dark eyed ones and they all match the registered description too.

Hmm, well I don't know what that pic IS then, but if it is not BBB then I am going to call Homestead and order it again! I very much liked it!

The image that was removed reminded me a bit of an early one of Dan Trimmer's, 'Raspberry Winter.' It is a small flower - very cute and very vigorous here.

I thought of that one too but it seemed just a bit different. They no longer have it on their site so I can link it. Maybe they figured out it was wrong too.

The raspberry winter is really pretty. I will put it on my wish list for someday...
