I requested earliest shipment date of late June/early July. I am glad I did. I would like to get them in the ground and growing this year. That way I may get blooms next spring.

Mine are coming around July 20 - can't wait!

Mary Ann - Thanks. I've been so pleased at the recent Scotus decision - with marriage legal for all. So many friends
will be happy! Love wins! The picture is of my pots being splashed with a rainbow of colored light by
a prism we bought at a flea market. It came out of a tank. It's sitting on my studio windowsill! This color display happens mostly when the sun is low in
the sky in winter. It's always a wondrous surprise!

How cool, Jan. I also have a prism, which hangs in my kitchen window. It sits there quietly for the better part of the year -- but in the wintertime, it throws rainbows into all corners of the kitchen, living room and dining room. I love it -- and you're right, it IS a wondrous surprise.

But you need to educate me -- "it came out of a tank" -- ??????

I wish love could always win, Jan. Most of the news is so sad. I had a prism hanging in my window for years and loved the rainbow it created. It lives with a grandson now. smiles

Whatever has brought joy to you should bring joy to someone you treasure. When my grandson, he is four of eight, sees the rainbow of light cast across his room he said he thinks of me. What a lovely thing for me to hear.

Mary Ann - this prism is about 7 or 8 nches long, and is about an inch and a half in diameter, and formed into an angular shape.The man who sold it to Chris said it was a viewing device for those inside the tank.

Bonnie - I love it that your grandson thinks of you when he sees the flashes of colored light!

The prism was part of the viewing mechanism for those inside driving a tank. I am guessing that used with mirrors it acted as a periscope does.

That's kind of funny. My DH and I are military buffs and both of us thought 'fish tank, water tank, holding tank...?' Neither one of us thought 'tank tank!'

I received my Superstition order today. All of their little SDB sold outs, except for Dark Matter, was in my box. YIPPEE!! They also sent four very nice iris gifts. two of their new ones SDB Blue Oasis and SDB Up In Flames and two very nice AB's one of which I requested... Patriot's Gem. Very nice rhizomes with increases starting and generous gifts. I have their tags made and will plant them this evening.
