Anyone interested in a peony, please tree-mail me!

However, spring is not here yet, it actually snowed this morning, so they will be available later than normal, they are just starting to peek from the ground.

Thanks!

There should be a HPS sale this fall. Normally have fernies along with lots of other things. Because they are mostly from members like Leon they are cheaper than most nurseries but not cheap. Last couple of times have fernies to plant back.

Sandy how long does the foliage look good?

It looks like your Iris are not blooming yet. My iris are blooming now so I guess this fern will bloom with the Spring bulbs in my zone.

I am trying to figure out where to place them in the gardens.

They can sometimes go dormant in summer and appear to die down (disappear). I haven't had that happen often however. Otherwise the foilage stays green, it just gets floppy. I tend to trim it down or use some wire fencing around the clump. A mature four foot wide mound (as pictured) is actually only about 1/2 that wide when it comes to the actual area they are growing from underground. Be sure to plant them where you don't have to move them for a few years, it can take that long for them to become well established. Hope this helps!

Seedsower said:I will have some Fernleaf Peonies to sell probably sometime in April. I haven't come up with pricing yet, I first wanted to see if there would be any interest. Most nurseries sell a tuber with one flower stem for $25-$35. I would be cheaper of course!

I most definitely am interested in purchasing a few. Let me know when they are ready.
