I know its a bit odd, but we decided to forego the traditional Christmas tree this year. It's not too big, but how many Christmas trees have flowers for the star? It was ready to flower just as the others were ready to go dormant. couldn't waste the opportunity.

Very few things in southern Indiana will ever remind you of Hawaii. However, gingers and plumeria help.

The Plumy Christmas tree was an emergency tree when the kids decided to come home. The leaves don't hold ornaments very well.

It was a trade off, the big ones didn't have flowers anymore, already put down for the winter.

Got it. I understand. The flowers are special.

Yellow/Orange NOID still going strong since October. She's in the GH now and loves the sunny spot. There has been some color changes and it looks more like a celadine.

Cheryl, you beat me big time. I'm in FL and I have no blooming plummies right now.

Lil thing is still full of leaves and one more bloom on it! Since it sits high on the shelf in the greenhouse where it can get any bit of sunshine offered, I can only see the underside of the flower...white with pink. I don't think it is going to go dormant this year? I'll get a pic tomorrow.
