It would be nice if we had some graphics that we could attach to the links. I use Google Skyscaper, Banner and Leaderboard ads on my site, so anything in those sizes would fit in there. It would be even better if the graphics had the links embedded in a code like a Google ad.

@dave
I sent my 500 local FB friends an invitation via Facebook instead of 500 emails or a group list. I added my link within the body of the text but there is an ATP graphic that automatically appears at the bottom of the message. Though I didn't check it yet, it must have the general link embedded within the graphic because I notice now that 3 or possibly more of my friends who commented on FB joined ATP. They must have joined via the graphic link because I received no notice that they joined. Others who used my link and joined, I did receive notification. So if people click on graphics, it might not have our individual links.

Also, when 'shared' on FB, only the graphic appears in the share, so it happens there as well.

It isn't as if I'm aching for more acorns, but others might be and I wanted you to know this is happening.

Sharon, a couple things:

1) I want to make sure that the referrals get properly credited. So if you see their names in the memberlist and you didn't get a system message from me about their signup, please let me know here or in a tree mail so I can make the link.

2) On facebook, it's aggravating how the site does that. You give it a link and then it goes in and grabs whatever it thinks it wants to add and then adds it to your post. BUT you can get rid of all that extra stuff by hiding it. There's an X on the box after you've made your post. Get rid of that and then only the link is left in your text.

I'd like to see the post in question on facebook to see if maybe I can program a way around this issue. I searched on your name and couldn't find it. If you have it in a place where I can see it I'd be grateful for a link (perhaps via tree mail)

One final thing, I just checked and Sharon you've had ten people signup from your referral link. BUT the actual link isn't established until they actually login. So far only 3 of those ten people have actually logged in.

So it may be that the system is working properly but they just haven't checked their mail and clicked on the login link just yet.

Dave, here's the link to the FB Post, my privacy settings are pretty open so I think you and everybody else can see it:
https://www.facebook.com/sharo...

I can't find an X in the ATP graphic box, but that's OK, I just wanted you to know that something like that was happening.

If that link doesn't work, let me know and I'll copy/paste and send it to you in a Tmail.

I think your privacy settings have made is so only certain people can see it. I can't access it. But don't worry about trying to change it lest it get messed up.

I do appreciate you letting me know about this and I'm going to give some thought as to how to prevent facebook from allowing those boxes to be automatically added.

Trish should be able to see it via our ATP membership, if you need it. Smiling
