Oh, I like Anam Cara, I don't think I have seen that one posted before.

I bet you run up to Valley of the Daylilies in the summer. I received their sale email and have been looking thru it.

Seedfork, I have two clumps of August Flame and both are definitely a bright spot in the garden late July thru September.

August Flame begins around mid-July for me and will bloom for about three weeks. Wish I could get it to bloom longer... may have to dig and divide it. But at any rate, it is certainly bright!
