Also today's pic of the seedlings upstairs. They are
3 months old, and have been trimmed once when they were
about 2 weeks old to keep the fast leaf growth from pulling
the roots out of the soil.

We water them with collected rain
water which makes a noticeable difference from past years
when using only tap water. They are not fertilized, and we
use 24 oz cottage cheese cups for planting. The cups are
strong and do not tip over. The plants are beginning to lose
the outer leaves now, and soon will need the outer dead leaves removed
primarily for clean up.

Beautiful as always, Debra! I think Carolina Cooldown is my favorite just because it reminds me of In High Regard which is one of my very favorites in my own garden.

Shirlee, your C's are awesome! Cosmic Kaleidoscope really is gorgeous. I love the open (flat-faced) look that eye really draws the attention. Your seedlings look very healthy:)

Thanks Vickie, the seedlings are quite healthy. Actually, it took a week (dips and tets) for them to come up so they are not quite 3 months old, but they are
doing fine so far. I have planted as many as 18 seeds in those pots, and
when transplanted they had enough roots to grow well.

Thanks Valerie, Cosmic Kaleidoscope puts out a bunch of proliferations too.
One of our prolifs bloomed this past season. All in all, it has proven to
be very hardy here.
