If you can find a Sharpie Industrial, Super Permanent Ink (fine print) Pen, you'll find that this ink holds up quite well.

Thanks for the tip Ken. I'll look for it. I knew something would come if I posted about the Sharpie I used. Now I'll look around the web and request one of my friends in the US to get me a few on their next trip to Mysuru. I have tried to write with normal pencil and this is good too.

Yes, #2 pencil works just fine. That super-duper pen is pretty much permanent. I even use it inside the collar of my tees/sweat shirts that have had their labels removed. After many washings, the ink is still strong. That lets me know which is the back of the shirt, since front and back are the same. I am "old" and need that aid... Sticking tongue out

Aahhha Ken. Very nice. My friend got me a set of Sharpie marker pens last year. In that set was one Laundry marker. I have not tried that one!! Now this must be good for me. What do you think? I'm also amazed that you have such a shirt that both front and back are the same!! I assume now, seeing your 'avatar' that you refer to the 'round-neck' tees as that orange one!! Hurray! Will also try the laundry marker next time I label. I hope it does not get dry keeping in the box.

Yes, the tee shirts and sweat shirts are just plain, round-neck ones. That being said, if you put one on backwards, the neck-rise is different, so you need to know the front from the back.

That "laundry" marker may be the same as the Industrial one. I don't know.

May be I'll experiment with this laundry marker I already have by writing one label and putting it out. My next garden season will be after summer, in June. At present, winter time, will last for a few more weeks.

I too faced this round neck shirt front-back problem. So I stitched a little label from another old one on the left chest, even though the maker label is already stitched on the neck. If we wear the wrong direction, we get chocked!! Smiling
