What is the difference in bloom size and flower size. Is the only reason boom size from 4-5 inches can not be pulled up, yet flower sized 4-5 inches can be, just the way the data was filled out. Often I would like a larger selection of bloom sizes during a search.

I see that nobody has answered your question Larry ... I'm curious too. I thought a bloom and a flower were the same thing.

The daylily database is filled out in the upper daylily specific portion directly from the registration info and so it only lists the bloom size there & we don't repeat the flower size in the lower generic section.

When doing a search by: "Search by characteristics (height, bloom color, etc) " it is not clear where the cut off point is for Daylilies and generic plants. Maybe there could be some indication of what is and is not related to daylilies in the "Daylily Search". It does give the option to search by flower size, and doing so will pull up a few entries, should these be deleted? I just really liked the option of being able to search for a wider spread in "Bloom" or "Flower" size.

I deleted the few that were in there except for 2 species entries since they are not registered.
