I love Yellow Blaze, one of my favorite Asiatics. For pollen daubers, it is good to use for making new late blooming Asiatics. I've been busy with a bit of daubing; hope to have lots to send to NALS!

New this year, Sun Valley. I like the outfacing form and lighter colored center area:


Here is a NOID yellow with a little seed grown pardalinum. They take sooo long to grow up from seeds!

Seedling from Citronella. I've done crosses to work toward longer pedicels and more downfacing blooms. This one has grown up since last year with 12-15 buds.


I'll end the Asiatic tour with my Dale's strain heuchera and hardy fuchsia June Bride. Both keep company with a few OTs in a semi-shady area. The heuchera grows true from seed, which suits me, a frugal gardener!

Thanks! The fuchsias make good companion plants for shady areas. I have a birdbath right next to it.

I think your Cintronella seedling is beautiful. Nutcracker looks really nice in your picture. I haven't really taken to it before, but your picture is quite tempting.

Anthony, we may be on par for lily addiction. It really comes down to whose porch has the biggest lily pot ghetto and I think that is you. So you win!
