I always liked Megglethorp, don't know why I don't have it.

I am hoping this one will pick up the Dyke's in the next couple years it is about as close to perfection as you can get in a flower and grows well all over the country ( Magical ) is my pick today. If I could only have one Pink in my garden this is the one it never dissapoints Smiling

These BBs and intermediates are wonderful- I'm wanting to concentrate on that size range quite a bit with my next orders.

Maria Malibran is such a fruity, delicious looking blend of colors!

I will try to make my first photo posting if it works. I love this iris although I have only had it for a few years. It has not shown much increase but we had a bad winter. I love the colors of it. Ming Lord is beautiful.

Hey neighbor! Jane, you succeeded with your first pic Hurray! And Ming Lord is glorious!

Arlyn, is Monsignor variable in the deeper color on the falls, or is that just lighting differences?

Brad: All of your pictures are gorgeous. I just planted Magical this fall and am anxious to see it bloom. I am glad you posted more than one picture of it. I also love the other ones, especially Maria Malibran, which I have not seen before.

I (and many members of my local Iris societies/Region) got Maria Malibran as a gift. They were just being handed out. I got two rather nice sized rhizomes.

Somewhat variable, I guess...but, that's two different "plants", in two different areas of the yard, and one is a '13 bloom, the other ,last year......so some of the variation is "culture" related, some temperature related, and some is probably camera / lighting.

Greg - Megglethorp is so pretty. Hope to see mine this spring. And you sure were lucky with the free Rhizome.
I agree on Marching Orders - could oblige that one!

Starwoman - Is that Photogenic on your avatar? I love the ruffles and colors. It looks like mine, the most beautiful iris I have acquired in years although most of mine are so new that I have only seen them bloom once or not yet.
