Hi Dianne, your images actually look like Sedum (Petrosedum rupestre subsp. rupestre 'Angelina')

Sedum adolphi 'Golden Glow' is a much larger sedum/stonecrop.

Look what it says in that link: http://crassulaceae.net/sedumm...

"also erroneously distributed as Sedum adolphi."

:) I actually purchased this as Sedum 'Aztec Gold' aka 'Golden Glow' some yrs ago .. sedums are actually in the genus belonging to the stonecrop (Crassulaceae) family contains 300 species .. (the one in your link I know as sedum x adolphii Golden Sedum) .. so, stonecrops are sedums. Sighing!

I actually think the one I posted is correctly known as Sedum rupestre (stonecrop) 'Aztec Gold' aka ‘Lemon Ball’ .. it has distinctive lime green/lemon growth that tinges with pink/amber in cold weather, different again to Sedum rupestre ‘Angelina’ (stonecrop) that is greener. The term 'Stonecrop' is rarely used in Australia, but it is seen in ( )'s.

When I originally listed this it was moved via site admin. Smiling I did not list it as it appears. Shrug!

Dianne, you didn't originally list this one. You asked me to create an entry for Sedum 'Golden Glow,' and the one I found on the Web was Sedum adolphi 'Golden Glow.' I hadn't seen your photos at the time I created the entry.

Stonecrop is merely a common name. The genus Sedum no longer has 300 species. Many of its species have been redefined as species of other genera. Sedum rupestre has become Petrosedum rupestre subsp. rupestre.

Lemon Ball is still a Sedum (Sedum mexicana).

I can create a new entry for Petrosedum rupestre subsp. rupestre 'Aztec Gold' and move your photos there, or I can move them to Sedum mexicana 'Lemon Ball,' but the latter is said to spread to 24 inches. Is that true of your sedum?

Lime green/lemon growth that tinges with pink/amber in cold weather, is a perfect description actually of sedum rupestre ‘Angelina’ as well. nodding

I just wrote sedum/stonecrop because they are interchangeable and can't guess as to what one may be more familiar with and didn't want any confusion.

Yes, I tried to find my earlier post but net service keeps losing my place ..

This sedum, as I posted pics, is a 'crawler' type sedum with a slightly mounding habit. It will spread indefinitely as the plant takes root as it spreads. looks like one big spreading plant, but made of many bits that even fall off .. when planted in planters & hanging baskets, it just spills over the sides.

I think my reply to s'one said I've grown this for ages & known it as 'Aztec Gold' (& I think it also became a retail name, as I've seen it on labels in nurseries here) .. I really don't know it otherwise, than as a sedum.
I shall leave it up to you as Admin as to where it goes .. I tip my hat to you. ps. it is very lime green, going pink/copper tipped in the cold.

I'll create a new entry for Petrosedum rupestre subsp. rupestre 'Aztec Gold' and move your photos there. If we later learn that Aztec Gold is the Australian trade name for another plant, we can merge the entries.
