They are all beautiful, Char. I especially like Waggle Dance and Wacky Wednesday.

I have Wings of Chance--just got it in the fall. Hope it does as well for me as it does for you.

Thank you Nan and Vickie! I missed "S" and "T"...looking like there's a bunch of those too. I'll post them once I get them all sorted out.

Nan, Wings of Chance was one of the first daylilies I bought over 20 years ago. A great early bloomer welcoming the start of the season with it's clean yellow and red blooms. Only missed one year....a deer ate all the scapes one night. Glare

Zoia, Wacky Wed. is still expensive, on the LA for $185 a SF...ouch. Doesn't seem to be as quick an increaser in zone 4 as EITPF not sure if I can divide it before next fall.

Char, just hold on to it until it's a nice healthy size. Too cool a plant to bum it out early. There is some possibility that I might be up in your are this coming summer. If I am, I will for sure be visiting! With a checkbook, I might add!

I'm always surprised how different some cultivars look when planted in different climate and how consistent some are, no matter where planted - I have not many W's but some of them are quite common:

Walter's Tango - new here, still potted, was looking for a Outrageous-like plant that flowers longer than 2 weeks
Thumb of 2022-03-01/Nightlily/621765

Watchyl Dancing Spider - a special favourite of my husband (he always chooses spiders when forced to choose a daylily)
Thumb of 2022-03-01/Nightlily/d32212

Watchyl Lavender Blue - needs warm nights for perfect opening
Thumb of 2022-03-01/Nightlily/892a2d

Watermelon Summer VT - not registered late/very late from Olallie, good parent for lots of buds late in the season
Thumb of 2022-03-01/Nightlily/98d080

Wee Willie Winkie - late/very late flowering miniature on high scapes, lots of tiny flowers
Thumb of 2022-03-01/Nightlily/6d717d

Whale Tales - shows often 'strange' flower form here - I'm not sure if I like that
Thumb of 2022-03-01/Nightlily/e2ffb1

a closer look:

Wild and Wonderful - seems to be very popular, I really like it
Thumb of 2022-03-01/Nightlily/4730f1

Wild Horses - quite similar to Egyptian Queen, flowers a little later, has lower stems here
Thumb of 2022-03-01/Nightlily/d81704

Wispy Rays - extremely impressing here in my garden, every visitor wants to buy it

A bunch of 2022 W's:

Whatchamacallit:

This is an excellent garden plant, prettier and more floriferous than its parent Stella. I think it should be in more gardens.
