My hands are in the dirt again!
Confused I was given these seeds by a neighbor yesterday and all she knew about them was that they are flowers. I have asked in multiple groups for identification but no one seems to have a clue about them.

The one that looks like a dried bean has brown seed that you can see in the picture. These seeds separate and are flat on both sides.

This one is like a nut who's shell has separated into equal sized pieces. The red seeds are inside the shell.

No idea on this first, but the second reminds me of Taxodium distichum (Bald Cypress), or something similar. Are the seeds/hulls sticky to the touch?

The second sure looks like a conifer cone and seed to me, too. But they aren't flowers!!

Taxodium distichum is a good guess, but it could be others. Do the seeds or cones smell? And how big are the cones (what holds the seeds).

Welcome! FarmerJan
May we ask you please to put something in the photo such as a coin, ruler or a pen to give us a size reference. Thank you.

Also, for the first photo, can you prize out a few seeds and give us a photo of the seeds, again with something to indicate the size. Thank you.
