I was given these seeds by a neighbor yesterday and all she knew about them was that they are flowers. I have asked in multiple groups for identification but no one seems to have a clue about them.

The one that looks like a dried bean has brown seed that you can see in the picture. These seeds separate and are flat on both sides.



This one is like a nut who's shell has separated into equal sized pieces. The red seeds are inside the shell.
