On my trip to Switzerland in May 2009, I saw many lovely colours and I could not help stop by them to take photos. My friend also began showing flowers to me for any photo opportunities I may find! I'm sorry I do not know the names of the flowers I saw there as most of them are not found/grown here in Mysore which is in the tropics. When we went there, it was not the 'alpine flowering season', which would have been so colourful, but some samples in patches were waiting for me!

Now that banner makes me anxious for spring to arrive! Looks like you have some pansies and (I think) English daisies there, Dinu.

Thanks to all. As I wrote the caption to this banner, it is not in my garden, but I took this photo of a bed on my trip to Switzerland.
