We spent a few fun hours today at the Show, which will be ongoing to Sunday, February 8. I always love this Show at the huge glass-roofed Dearborn Farms, especially when the sun comes out and floods the exhibits and vendors with beautiful sunshine. Gorgeous!
I took a bunch of pictures with my IPad, hope you enjoy!
First the Vendors and then on to the Show.

Btw you might be happy to know that I spotted the Blc Pamela Hetherington 'Coronation' in Waldor's exhibit!! I took a picture of a second plant, I think it belonged to one of the Deep Cut members.
I took the picture of the lovely lady in that absolutely gorgeous knitted coat, simply because it spoke to me, since I have always knitted or crochet stuff like that for many years and always have a project in work. She made it 30 years ago and didn't object having her picture taken.
The last picture shows the Paph Winston Churchill x, which followed me home. It was just opening.
And if you are wondering what the pretty Calceolarias are doing here, we just liked them, Dearborn Farm sold them.
I posted my loot into the "I just bought in 2015" thread here

Thank you so much for bringing me such a great array, not just the Phals. Your IPad pictures are so much better than mine! I still have original, need to upgrade I guess. Right now I can't decide on a favorite.

Roberta, thanks so much. I have the IPad Air, bought exactly a year ago. I love it!!

Did you look at my loot? I was thinking of you when I scored the Coel. cristata at Silva Orchids! Smiling This time it is not Unchained Melody!

The second picture shows a beautifully bloomed Pleurothallis restrepioides. I was floored! I grow this plant for many years, it keikis like crazy, turns into a giant plant and blooms once in a blue moon for me. It really needs cooler conditions than I can give it to bloom that well.

Thanks, Ursula! So many drool worthy orchids in one place! I wish we had shows like that near me. Ours are just vendors, unless I want to drive to San Diego, or Santa Barbara, either being a grueling 2+ hour drive. We do have society judging areas, but they are very small....not those magnificent displays. Lovey dubby

Carol, thanks. I think we are lucky, this one is about 1 hour drive for us.

I was admiring that nice knitted coat! Oh, and the orange beauty next to it, what's a Rth? As Bert said your picture quality is so good I could expand it enough to read the label Rth. Young-min orange 'Golden Satisfaction'.

This one is a Rhyncattleanthe, it used to be a Blc. I liked the bright color!
Glad you liked the coat too! It was knitted in one piece, first vertically, then picked up the stitches on top for a yoke. Well done! The yarn looked a bit like Noro, but I think she may have hand spun it with a hand spindle.
You know, I will use my Nikon for the ultra macro shots and telephoto lens, but for the "regular stuff" in-between the IPad or IPhone cameras are not bad at all, especially when it comes to capture some of those difficult pinkish red fluorescent shades.
