Its kinda embarrassing to search for iris you've introduced, but don't grow anymore - been looking around for this one to grow again. A decade old, so not surprising i lost it due to bed revamps, and moving it around here and there.

Mary Ann hasn't been too active on here of late, but you might find her on the Iris Cubit.

She is a Facebook friend for me--I can ask her if you want.

Her stepson just passed away, and her brother just went to the hospital with covid, so she may be a bit preoccupied for a while.

Omigosh -- I just now found these messages -- a tad late...... So sorry -- my life hasn't been my own for some time now. Tom -- thanks for filling in some information for me.

Tim -- I'm not sure if I still have that Iris or not. I emptied the bed it was growing in, several years ago, and transplanted all of the Irises in that bed elsewhere. Not all of them survived the switch -- and I don't recall seeing this one since. But if it pops up again, I'll remember that you were looking for it. If you still are........

I seem to be well -- and life is what it is. In the past several years, I've lost many of the people who made my life, my life. It's a hard thing. But nothing that can be changed, and nothing that doesn't happen to everyone to one degree or another. We either leave, ourselves, -- or we are left. And if we are left -- we do the best that we can, and we move on. So here I am.

I'm happy to see so many familiar names still here -- and that includes you! Thanks for taking the time to say hello.

Mary Ann ~ My son passed away last year as well. There are no words. But you did explain it well.
It's so nice to have you back. We missed you. I hope you are doing better.

Evelyn -- I didn't know that -- and I'm so sorry. How old was he? Was it an expected passing, or a sudden unexpected one? I honestly don't know which is worse. I think the very hardest thing is to lose a child -- it's something that you never expect to have to endure.
