I sympathize with you , Ursula...and all of you in the east. You have had a miserable winter. We, on the other hand, have had none, which will most likely make for a dangerous, and as far as gardening goes, terrible summer. The northwest, including northern Ca. is getting rain now, but with destructive winds. The problem is that these are not coming from the north, they are the so called pineapple express...warm rains coming from Hawaii, that do nothing for the snow pack in the Sierras.
Winter business is suffering in the mountains, and most of our water comes from there. Looks like another bad year for Ca. in general. I can only hope this isn't one of those "7 year cycles", because I'd like to outlive it. Big Grin
