About this time of the winter I start my spring plants..seedlings and cuttings and small plants that are vines will be in the windows needing something to twine on..I found a discarded shogi screen.. And detached the heavy edging and ripped the paper off And use the grid to start the passion vines and morning glories on on the sides of the windows

That looks awesome! My fav 2 trellises used to be the side panels of a wire utility cart. Repurposing rules - and UP is the way to go for smaller spaces!

That's kismet! Yes, that's what my pic is. Agree, they prefer to not dry too much. Might feel the need to make more foliage more quickly with less light? That pic looks like a very bright spot.

How lovely! I finally moved from a townhome to an adorable cottage in a lake community. I still have more in common with the apartment gardeners - so many plants, so few windows!

I love the use of the screens. I have a trellis room divider that I heed a place and a plan for. I could use it in the front window, but I like the view from the window. I'll thin of something.

I have been wanting to create a screen of climbing Japanese morning glories.

That's cool, I hadn't thought using a trellises inside. Definitely a good way to save space.

This trellis is 1 strand from leftover chain link fence. The Philodendron is going up both side of it, and have overlapped each other by now. Every couple months, I wind the loose tip around the support.
