I'm so glad it's not worse...but sorry you're feeling so bad. You might want to try a cup of fennel tea each day as well. Use about 1 Tablespoon of fennel seed to a quart of water; bring it to a boil, then turn off the heat and let it steep for a while. It's very pleasant...smells and tastes like Good n Plenty candies. Very soothing to the digestive system.

You know, I'm also very appreciative that you posted the symptoms of ARD...this sounds very much like what my husband is suffering and nobody has really mentioned ARD at all. He's scheduled for tests later this month.
Feel better soon! *hugs*

Glad to hear it was nothing really serious!
I also have bouts with Acid reflux, and have started an effort to once again lose twenty pounds.
If I eat smaller portions, and don't eat much later at night I do soooo much better. When you bend over to tie your shoes and your face turns red and you can't breath for the belly in the way, it is time to lose some weight. I never need to get over 200 lbs. and I am much better at 175-180, but I sometimes slip and get up to 210 and then I am miserable. The holidays really did me in, but I am doing better already, I can tie my shoes! Rolling on the floor laughing
