I guess I would have to play with it more.. think it's going to be hard to find things later on.. Dave knows how extensive I get with it... he has given me a hand in the past.. usually scrolls and scrolls mine gets so large.. and if I separate everything into it's own blog.. might take forever to get done.. might just have to figure out how to adjust it

Well, since Dave seems to know more about this than I do, I'm going to just let him answer your question Whistling

I also wish we could go "deeper" into our blogs. Maybe be able to set up different ones for different things. Maybe tabs would work? I could have a blog tab for gardening, one for pets, etc....

It's possible that I may make a more advanced journaling system here at ATP but it won't be too similar to the DG journal app.

I think most people used their journals to simply keep track of what plants they are growing, and where on their property are those plants. Some would have a journal for "Veggie garden, 2011" for example.

What I'm thinking of doing is creating a more simple "Plant inventory" system where you can log all the plants that you're growing and you can specify which area of your place they are growing in and things like that. But it wouldn't include all the complexity of milestones, statuses and all that...

This is a project that I have been planning to do this fall after bringing it up for discussion with the membership here.

I never used milestones.. and started with status.. but stopped .. annoying to do.. always kept track of sun requirement, height & width.. and a photo with a link to were I bought the seed or plant .. but will look forward to it .. if you get to it

I will definitely get to it and when that time comes (a few months?) I'll first broach the subject in this forum and I hope at that time that you'll be a part of the design conversation. Smiling
