WH-WHAT is that ? Never saw this before. If I had to guess, you caught the flower in its own special birth and unfurling, and the shape lasted but only a few minutes. But what a sight ! Thanks, Miriam. That was its actual shape. The petals never unrolled. I so wish I could have captured the gene(s), but it didn't set a pod.
